it's actually really easy to make it work. it worked when i tried that earlier.
when you are about to post an entry over at dreamwidth, scroll down. bottom of the site reads "Crosspost this Entry. Crossposting Settings" click the link. add a new account. your lj account of course. you add the username etc. and create crosspost journal.
then you go back to the update journal thing. when you are about to post an entry, you choose the crossposting on and post the entry. it should be visible on dw & lj :)
